Vocational education and training (VET) prepares trainees for jobs that are based on manual or practical activities, traditionally non-academic, and totally related to a specific trade or occupation. It is sometimes referred to as technical education as the trainee directly develops expertise in a particular group of techniques.
After a co-operation between Chakor Gramodyog Sewa Sansthan and Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industry’ (SFURTI Programme) of Khadi & Village Industries Commission (KVIC) we have trained the Agarbatti artisans in many regions and the feedback we got is absolutely outstanding.
