The cluster in 2008 entered a new market with a new product and with a different marketing strategy. That new product was handmade incense sticks i.e. Mahak Agarbatti, Mantra incense sticks as premium brand, Mogra Dhoop Batti and Hawan Samagri. The point for manufacturing incense sticks (Agarbatti) is to help the artisans of Kannauj Agarbatti cluster and to make their world a better place to live.

In continuation, 435 women Artisans were trained under Agarbatti training and Skill Development Programs since 2008. The organization has also arranged an educational tour for Artisans/Entrepreneur/other service providers  to ‘Gaya’ (Bihar) to know the better operating practices of Agarbatti Industry, as Gaya is a major raw sticks (Un-Perfumed Agarbatti) producer in India.
